1. Lacuna Coil "In A Reverie'
Females in metal... As shocking as it may seem to all of you I think this album is the best of the year. I like Christina singing, her crystal clear vocal and Andrea's sound awesome! They are one of the best Gothic singers I've ever listened to. The acoustic guitar sounds great and... um, indifferent. Overall this is one of the best metal albums I have ever heard.
2. Gammaray 'Powerplant'
Oh, here is another great album by Kai Hansen, I think it is as good as the previous one, Somewhere Out In Space... but not better. Well, pretty insightful lyrics, very good guitarwork... perfect job!
3. Gravedigger 'Excalibur'
Ugh, what can I say about this one? The music is simply amazing, Chris Boltendahl's vocals may be a little difficult to swallow for some of you but his voice fits the music. Guitarwork as usual is great but how can one NOT expect that from Uwe Lulis? I have also become a big fan of this band in recent years.
