Colleagues,

I will be brief.

I know that most of you are already accustomed to saving the world, to dying innumerable times, to losing levels and equipment in the name of nothing really important, so we can skip this part. The world is not really in danger this time (and never has been, actually). The problem is rather mundane. A group of nexialist mages has been found dead - but the last time men were killed in such fashion, Zarc existed in the world. There is not much that can tear apart six of the world's best mages in a matter of seconds.

Unfortunately there are no great necromancers left in the world, so the souls of the dead cannot be brought back for questioning. It was then that I decided to hire help.

You will have to bring the killed back from the dead. You will have to hunt the something that killed them in the first place. You will have to do it quickly. It requires lightning-fast reactions. You will doubtlessly die. But the survivors will be rewarded handsomely. If there should be any survivors.

Technical Information:

QUEST LENGTH: 4 to 6 hours.

QUEST DIFFICULTY: high

QUEST CONTINENT: spans width and breadth of the whole Sloth world.

QUEST LEADER: volunteers, the leader determined by a Tournament; your skills and general knowledge will be tested.

QUEST PRIZE DISTRIBUTION: drachma, possibly some items.

QUEST GROUP SIZE: limited to 40, possibly split in 2 or more teams during the quest to fulfill their tasks.

QUEST LEVEL RESTRICTION: level 20 and above.

QUEST START TIME: Sat Jun 28, 3 PM.

QUEST MEETING PLACE: Settlestone, exact location to be specified later.
