Cliffside Steps
A narrow flight of steps has been cut into the cliffside. Below you,
they wind into a small town, while far above, they appear to lead to a
stone platform at the top of the cliff. The air is still, and the only
noise to be heard comes from a busy flock of seagulls wheeling in the sky
far above. To the south, a cavern has been recently excavated in the
rock. It is dimly lit by the flickering light of a torch or a candle.
