Burned Hallway
The white tiles are covered with soot and small crisp pieces of gnome
and labcoat. A large chunk of metal is embedded in one of the ceiling
lamps which lights the hallway. Sparks shower from the lamp and the hall
is filled with a greasy black smoke. A gaping hole in the east wall opens
into the fiery wreckage of what used to be a gnomish laboratory. To the
west stand a pair of huge, massive, steel doors.
You flee head over heels.
End of Hallway
The white tile in this section of the hallway gleams in the light of
the ceiling lamps. In the west wall there is a large metal door with a
small circular window in the center. The north wall is covered with wood
paneling so polished, reflections of the hallway can be seen. Dominating
the north wall is a large door with a golden device inlaid in the polished
wood.
