Hello Everyone.
Initially that was a private letter, but i've decided to put it on wizlist.
We all play this game, we create it and, actually this one is more than
just a
game for most of us. Many of us spent years of their lives and months of
online
time here. Here we earn friends, here we can find a love, here we earn
enemies
also. But, i think you know that already.
The subject which i want to discuss today is personal relationship and how
do
they affect the game. While reading, please remember that i neither want to
slander anyone nor to prove the innocence of mine. We're not perfect,
furthermore, we're not a horde of angels in white sparkling robes. We're
human
with all our likes, dislikes, bad and good habits, with our real lives.
Few days ago my mortal (Kitn) was stabbing in Iceglen group. When we were
on
regen, Rhino asked me why i don't use a body damage. I replied that body
dam is
only useful only on those mobs where you can splork them with that
additional
dam and cannot without it. The discussion went through and i mentioned a
3.5mil
stab/wind mob, where that additional dam makes sense. When Bones asked me
about
that mob - i said (with a note of sarcasm) about Splork's areas and what
do i
think about in balance in those. Right after that Splork (who was snooping
one
of us for all the time of converstion, i believe - btw, re-read immh snoop
one
more, it was designed not to satisfy anyone's curiosity) asked me what is
that
3.5mil mob. I've sent him log into his icq, here it is:

Oh, yeah, that's not 3.5, but 3.3mil, but that doesn't matter, actually.
I wonder if mob was just taken from immh mob_example and adjusted
accordingly.
It will be _almost_ okay if that was a single mob, but there are enough of
them
to call it just a typo or some type of mistake. That's what i call un-
balanced mobs. And please, dont tell me that the area was adjusted to be
dangerous. It isn't.
Well, let's continue. Either he didn't get my message, or whateverelse.. He
started to threaten with me, so i've clientgagged him, because i was close
to
tell him where he should go and what to do with himself. Yes, a client gag
was
not a most wise thing to do, but, telling an annoying person to fuck off is
neither wise nor at least polite. Being honest, i did not suspect a thirty
years old man to behave like a pubery-aged kid. After some time ago Helxen
got passworded, and, after the weekend (which i was outside the town),
wiped.
I was neither informed which was the reason, nor can guess it by myself.
Possibly i am not very creative immortal, at least i didn't put tons of
areas
ingame. Actually i didn't put any. Yet. From the other side, Rick is known
as a person who did relatively much for this game, ran lots of quests,
etc, etc.
Oh yeah, lots of areas as well. Let's not discuss which methods were used
to
write descriptions for most of them, let it be on his own conscience, if
he
has any.
Yes i did mistakes in past, but, who didn't? An immortal who didn't any
mistakes is something like a fair, honest-minded politican. An endangered
specie. You know, the mud has a medieval theme, but i really don't believe
that we have medieval "eye for eye" rules. "I dont like you cause you
point out
mistakes which i did, so fuck off, i'll punish you". Was disappointing to
see
that people from a democratic country can behave like this.
Really, i didn't expect that i will be either restored in my rights, nor
allowed to re-immort in the past. Yes, that's one of my dreams, but i
don't know if i want to share the game with persons like Splork. The
string "You have been
playing for 121 days and 8 hours" makes sense, of course. At least i know
that i did something good in the past.
But, look at it indiefferently: In case law, that means that anyone who
will annoy one of the high and mighty is subject to punishment. Just
because of the personal preferences. Do we really want it? I don't call
for a censure vote for Splork, but facts are stubborn things. When a
person does areas by cut'n'paste from other's copyrighted work, it just
wrong.
Please, give me your clean opinion, it's important for me.
And yes, i'll miss almost everyone of you - of the team. Jake, whom i
called sometimes and always miss him, but who was always amicable and
honest. Alana, whos areas are still the best and whos example i was trying
to follow all the way and will follow in the future. Enea, whos
descriptions were on the verge of foul sometimes and with whom i was
chatting about almost everything. Rita, whos creativeness is the second
example which i followed, and his inexhaustible imagination and sense of
humor which i like a lot. Dot and Pbx, matches and the box, those evil
angels, which are way too funny. Veta, who's nice, funny and fuzzy. Well,
the list is long. For almost everyone i have a place in my heart.
