The fur seals have long been hunted for the precious pelts, and their numbers have been dwindling ever since man arrived on Thule. The seal is a large warm-blooded mammal which hunts fish for survival. This glorious creature is snow white except for two large black eyes, and is one of the most well adapted seafaring animals. On land, however, the fur seal is an easy target for hunters trying to earn a day's wages. A fur seal is in an excellent condition. | |
