| A woman shakes the matresses and sweeps the floor. | |
| The woman looks like she is somewhere in her thirties. She is neither tall nor short, neither fat nor thin, her features plain and perfectly forgettable. A white kerchief hides her hair, held in a tight bun at her nape. She carries a broom and a dustpan and uses them to clean the bedroom. When she finds a pallet that is not currrently occupied, she lifts it, sweeps the floor under it and puts it back in place, making sure that any packs or clothes look untouched.
