a tangled mess resembling the nest of a small bird. It would appear that
several days have gone past since her last visit to the brook to bathe, and
her parents are nowhere to be seen. She is seated right in the middle of
the dirt path, playing with a few jacks and a small ball.
A grubby little girl is in an excellent condition.
