fledgling roc bird young
A young, but large avian nibbles on a fresh kill.
Rocs are the largest of all avians, with wingspans up to and over one hundred feet and talons large enough to ensnare a cow. This particular roc is a fledgling, merely six feet tall with a wingspan of ten feet. Its down is brown with white speckles. It tears into the fresh kill from its mother with a great amount of vigor. A fledgling roc is in an excellent condition.
