4:average embryo | |
Near a large vine, an average-sized embryo wiggles its hook-nailed feet.
This egg is like some of the others with its hook-nailed feet bursting through the shell. It takes the length of two moons for an avian egg to progress to this stage. A closer look at the egg shows slight movement within the shell as the young embryo continues its long process of breaking out. An average-sized embryo is in an excellent condition.
