it, as do Maurice's sparkling eyes. His voice is metallic with emotion,
his fists clenched. He manages some respectable teeth gnashing. He is
motionless like a cobra before an attack, and he seems to exude an almost
physically sensible aura of dreadful hatred like a cornered rat might.
Maurice is in excellent condition.
